They govern your access to and use of our websites, applications, and online services that provide educational content, memberships, and related features (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (together, the “Governing Documents”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

I. Accounts and Eligibility

1. Minimum age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age at which you can consent to online services in your country, you may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Accurate details. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it updated.
3. Personal use only. One account per individual. Account sharing is not permitted. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity on your account.

7. Inactivity. We may deactivate accounts that are inactive for an extended period, after prior notice to the email on file.

II. Memberships, Trials, Pricing, and Payments

1. Membership types. We may offer monthly, annual, and other membership options, as described at sign-up. Some features may vary by plan.
2. Auto-renewal. Paid memberships auto-renew at the end of the billing period unless you cancel before renewal.
3. Trials and promotions. We may offer free trials or time-limited promotions. Where a payment method is required to start a trial, your plan will convert to a paid membership and your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Eligibility and availability are at our discretion.
4. Pricing and taxes. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location. We may change prices or plan features for future billing cycles; we’ll provide reasonable advance notice where required by law.
5. Payment processing. Payments are handled by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and/or platform providers (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play). Their terms and privacy policies apply to the processing of your payment information. We do not store full card details.
6. Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry, request updated details, suspend access, or downgrade your account until payment is successful.

III. Cancellations, Cooling-Off, and Refunds

1. Cancel anytime. You can cancel your auto-renewing membership at any time via your account or the platform where you subscribed (e.g., Apple or Google). Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
2. UK consumer cooling-off. If you are a UK or EEA consumer, you typically have a 14-day right to cancel from the day after purchase under consumer laws for digital services.
   • Immediate access and waiver. If you choose to receive immediate access to paid content within the 14-day period, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you may lose the right to cancelonce full performance has begun. Where only partial performance occurred, we may deduct a reasonable amount for services provided before cancellation.
3. Refunds. We do offer refunds in line with this Section III and any specific refund policy stated at checkout. For purchases made via app stores, any refunds must be requested through that store’s process.
4. Abuse or breach. We may decline or revoke refunds for misuse, fraudulent behaviour, or material breach of these Terms.

IV. Permitted Use and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

1. Share or resell your account, membership, access links, or content.
2. Copy, record, distribute, or make derivative works from our videos, lessons, or resources, except as expressly permitted in these Terms.
3. Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable material.
4. Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
5. Scrape, crawl, harvest, or mine data from the Services without our prior written consent, including using bots or automated tools.
6. Introduce malware or attempt to disrupt, circumvent security, or interfere with the Services or payment flows.
7. Reverse engineer or attempt to access the source code or non-public areas of the Services.
8. Violate others’ rights, including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights.
   We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts for suspected violations.

V. Our Materials and Licence to You

1. Ownership. All content and materials on or through the Services—including videos, text, images, audio, quizzes, branding, interfaces, code, and compilations—are owned by or licensed to THE THING ABOUT LTD and protected by intellectual property laws.
2. Limited licence. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access the Services for personal, non-commercial educational use.
3. No implied rights. No rights are granted except as explicitly stated. All trademarks and logos are our property or that of their respective owners.

VI. User Content (Comments, Reviews, Community Features)

1. Future community features. If we enable comments, posts, or submissions, anything you submit or upload (“User Content”) must comply with these Terms and the law.
2. Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse or guarantee accuracy of User Content.
3. Rights you grant us. To operate, improve, and promote the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence (with the right to sublicense) to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute your User Content on or through the Services and our official channels.
4. Removal. We may remove or decline to display User Content that breaches these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

VII. Downloadable Resources and Usage Rules

1. Designated downloads. Some resources are provided as downloadable (e.g., PDFs, checklists). Unless expressly allowed, you may download for personal use only and must not share, repost, upload, resell, or redistribute them.
2. Non-downloadable content. Videos and other materials not explicitly designated as downloadable must not be downloaded, recorded, or captured.

1. Moderation. We may monitor, review, and moderate content and behaviour on the Services, but we are not obligated to do so.
2. IP infringement. If you believe material on the Services infringes your copyright or other IP rights, please send a notice including: (a) your contact details, (b) identification of the work claimed to be infringed, (c) the location/URL of the allegedly infringing material, (d) a statement of good-faith belief, and (e) a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act.
